Antonio Brown's perfect debut for the Patriots

Seven times Pro-Bowl and 4-time All-Pro Antonio Brown made his debut for the New England Patriots in his home town Miami in a perfect manner for this veteran .
After a brawl with Mike Mayock, the General manager of the Raiders, following a $54,000 fine due to missing the team practices on the 4th of this month. Before that, in March, Raiders acquired him for the 3rd and 5th round draft pick in the 2019 draft from the Pittsburgh Steelers. his squabble with NFL over the right to wear his old helmet and his controversial posts on the social made the Raiders release the star WR, as the management felt that he was more trouble than worth. In March, he joined the Raiders on a 3years contract of $50 million, which became void after his release from the Raiders. .After overstaying his welcome in the Steelers, Brown was traded to the Raiders and the Raiders were relying heavily on him to boost their offense. Later an email to the ESPN, “no way I play after they took that and made my contract week to week”
Hours after his release from the Raiders, Brown joined the Patriots, with $15 million one year contract and $9 million as signing amount. Though he joined the Patriots, he couldn’t participate in their(Patriots) opening match against his former team, the Steelers, due to the NFL technicality. The reason why Brown couldn’t play in the season opener for the team is, Brown’s release hasn’t been official until 4 p.m. (EST ) and the roster for the Sunday games are locked at 4 p.m. Moreover the Sunday transaction is also disallowed. So, Brown‘s had to wait until Monday to officially become Patriot.
In their second match, the Patriots routed the Dolphins by 43 to none. On the September 15th, in their matchup against the Miami Dolphins, at his home town, Brown made his debut. In his first game for the Patriots he was simply impressive, Tom Brady used him in that game often and early and didn’t hesitate to throw the ball at him.
Brown came on the field at Patriots’ second play of their first drive, Brady passed over the middle to Brown 18 yard to Dolphin’s 39. On the 4h play, Brady again passed left to Brown for 10 yards to Dolphins’ 28. On the 6th play Brady’s 3rd target and 3rd reception by Brown, he advanced 10 yards to Dolphins’ 8. Only 1.21 to go in the 2nd quarter and On 1st & 10 at Dolphin’s 20 from Brady’s perfect pass, Brown scored a touchdown. In total in that match, Brady targeted him 8 times out of which he received 4 , 56 receiving yards and one touchdown. He also rushed 5 yards.

All in all, it was a remarkable debut for Antonio Brown for the Patriots. After his theatrical stint with the Raiders, we hope this veteran receiver can make a new beginning and have a perfect season of NFL and with his new team.
