NCAAF rankings of the top 25 teams

American football, the most popular sports,that captivated and resides in the heart and soul of American football. College football or gridiron, in USA and Canada, is one of the most popular tournaments of American football in which teams consisting of players from the academic institutions(Universities, Colleges and similar institutions). The 2019 season is underway with the matchup between the 8th seed, according to AP ranking, Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes, in which Florida won by 24-20.

How the ranking works :

The teams are ranked in every week by the basis of their points accumulated from the votes cast by the voting panel. The voting panel consisting of 61 broadcasters and sports writers cast their vote in the form of submission of a list. The list of teams that are selected are in order of their positions, that is, which are according to the voters, is placed first, second,third and so on. The team placed first gets 25 points, second placed team gets 24 and so on in the descending order of ranks and points.

Whatever the team's rankings are, in any given day,it is obvious that the ranking isn’t necessarily always reflected in the outcome of the match, based on the teams game play a lower-ranked team can outplay and outperform a superior ranked team. As the week 1’s matches in on the way and the NCAAF season unfolds, we are expecting it to be a very enjoyable and pleasant one.
